For the safety of everyone on our roads, all drivers must be medically fit to drive. You have to prove that you are medically fit every time you apply for, or renew or replace your driver licence

We are all convinced that we are great drivers, and having passed our driving test there seems little point in taking any further training. But there is so much more that any driver can learn and these extra driving skills can not only make your journeys safer but also increase the sheer pleasure of driving.

Volunteer drivers need to be safe drivers, and medically fit to drive. Some may also benefit from a course of driving lessons to upskill. Volunteers and teachers may be transporting our children

Older Drivers and Drivers with Chronic medical conditions: The Occupational Therapist provides the medical fitness to drive assessment -(the standard ROAD SAFETY Test will not provide a medically based test. Has your GP asked you to have an Occupational Therapist Medical Driving Assessment in order to have your licence renewed etc?
